Kaizen
Kaizen is one of the most successful and dynamic branding agencies in Northern Ireland. Originally established as Kaizen Print in 2013, founders Marty and Connor McCauley built the business on a foundation of fast turnaround times, reliability, and a keen understanding of client needs. Their rapid growth necessitated an expansion into broader services, leading to the creation of Kaizen Brand Evolution and Kaizen Digital Evolution to meet the increasing demand for comprehensive design and digital solutions.
Today, these divisions have come together under the unified Kaizen name, with brand, digital, and print services all operating from their headquarters in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The agency now boasts a team of 50 skilled professionals who adhere to the principles laid down by their founders, inspired by the Japanese business philosophy of continuous improvement, or "kaizen." This philosophy emphasizes incremental, ongoing improvement and collaboration, ensuring that the entire team works cohesively from top to bottom.
My interest in Kaizen was sparked by my lecturer, Ryan Stanfield, who previously worked for the agency and shared insights from his graphic design career with our class. The branding work that Kaizen has produced over the years has been particularly impressive to me. Notable projects include their collaboration with Beamish and the rebranding of the Ulster Gaa, which showcase their ability to create compelling and impactful brand identities.
